Billable users
The only users you pay for are active staff users in your Qwil tenancy. This means users that have been invited to, and accepted their invitation within Qwil are billable. If you are to deactivate a user they will no longer be charged for, and any payment made will carry over pro rata.
Paid users:
- System administrators
- User administrators
- Staff Users
Free users:
- Clients
- Partners
Can I change my users?
Yes if you have a change on your team, and have any leavers or joiners, you are able to deactivate users and invite new ones to replace them.
Increasing the number of staff users on your plan:
- If you are on a self managed plan, you can simply invite new staff users. Qwil will automatically charge you pro rata for the number of active staff users you onboard.
- If you are on an enterprise or any other custom pricing plan and you wish to increase the number of payable users, you can contact sales here
How do inactive and active users effect my plan?
Deactivating a user will remove them from your plan. If you are on a self managed plan, your monthly charge will update pro-rata.
Only active staff users are payable. Inviting a new user will only result in a charge once they become active, by accepting their invitation to Qwil.
Example:
You are a 10 person company on a monthly plan paying £25 per month per active staff user. Your total monthly charge is £250. You add invite a new staff user to Qwil and they accept their invite with 10 days remaining of month. Your updated invoice for this month can be calculated by the calculation: £25 per month x (10/30) days = an additional £8.33 for the current month. With the total monthly charge rising from £250, to £275 from the next full month.
When will I be charged?
Your billing cycle will dictate when you will be charged. If you are on a monthly plan you will be charged on the same day each month, and if on the annual plan this will happen on the same day each year. When adding users to your self managed plan, for both annual and monthly, you will be charged on the evening of the user's activation. If you have deactivated a user from your self managed plan, the charge for the license for that user will be deducted from your next bill.
