Who can use this feature?
Staff
Qwil Scheduler allows you to add a booking option to your profile or set booking links for multiple event types. By default, when you first set up Qwil Scheduler you will have a 30 minute event. In this guide we will show you how you can quickly make a new event type.
Step 1: Open Scheduler Settings
If you have already set up Qwil Scheduler, click on Scheduler in the left hand menu and then Click Edit scheduler settings.
If you haven't yet set up Qwil scheduler please follow our guides for setting up Qwil Scheduler.
Step 2: Create a New Event Type
Next to Event Types, click + New Event Type
Step 3: Enter Your Event Name, Duration and Location
You will need to give each event a name, as well as setting the duration of the event and location. Usually the location will be your Zoom, Teams or Qwil Meet link. Once you're done click Next.
Step 4: Add a description
You can now add a short description to your event which will show on the booking page. This will give people a better idea of the event purpose and you can even provide instructions for booking.
Step 4: Edit Advanced Settings
If you would like more control, click Show advanced settings and configure your event to your liking.
This will allow you to set the following:
Minimum Notice - The minimum time in the future clients will be allowed to book.
Booking Horizon - How long in the future bookings can be made.
Start Time Increments - The frequency of availably time slots.
You will also have the option to permanent delete your event type.
Step 5: Add to profile
When a user clicks on your profile in Qwil, they will be presented the option to book a meeting with you. This will be your default event type. To change this to your new event, click the Use on Qwil Profile button.
Step 6: Share Event Link
If you would like to share a link directly to an event (either because it's not the event on your Qwil profile or the recipient isn't on Qwil yet), you can click the Copy Public Link button. You can then share this booking link with anyone you would like to book a meeting with.
