With Qwil, it is easy to start a new conversation with a colleague, your company representative or a client. Starting a chat thread in Qwil is very similar to how you've been used to with email: create a new email (start a chat), add a subject (Chat title) and then add participants.
What to expect?
- You can start a chat thread with one or more of your contacts from the desktop app, browser and mobile. This chat thread will be synchronised across all your devices.
- You can create a chat directly from a contact screen or from the details menu of an existing chat. Just click on a chat participant and then click on the create chat icon on their profile.
- As a client, you can only start a chat with participants who are in your contact list. To understand more about contact lists click here.
- As a staff member, you can also search in the directory for any other staff member not in your client team.
- A chat will only become active and appear in other participants' chat lists after you have sent a message.
- When a chat includes clients you will see an indicator before the chat title.
- A chat can have a maximum of 100 active participants.
