Within the Salesforce connector you will be able to manage Qwil chats. You have the capability to view participants, messages and download attachments or save them to your client's Salesforce record. This is all done from within the chats menu tab. A quick demonstration is below in this video.
Note: Depending on the settings within your Qwil organisation's Salesforce, you may have access to view the record of all chats, or just your own. However, you will only have access to download your own chats' attachments and transcripts unless you have data reviewer permissions.
Accessing a chat with a client from Salesforce
All staff users with access to a client will be able to access chat participants, messages, documents and images via Salesforce. This can be done by performing the following steps:
- Navigate to the Chats tab on the left-hand menu.
- Locate the desired chat to view.
- Click on the chat name.
This will show you the chat details along with 4 tabs: Participants, Messages, Documents & Images. To send messages into the chat, simply click the chat name from this page and you will be redirected to the chat in Qwil.
To access your chats from within Salesforce you must be logged in to Qwil on your web browser.
Save or download documents from Salesforce
From the chat details, you can view all documents sent in a chat by clicking on the Documents tab in the desired chat. This will display a list of all documents in the chat.
To save a documents from the chat to your client's Salesforce record:
- Click on the button next to the desired document.
- Select Save As Salesforce file.
To download a document from the chat to your computer:
- Click on the button next to the desired document.
- Select Download.
We only allow files under 25Mb to be downloaded or saved via Salesforce. In order to view large files, please click the chat title to redirect you to Qwil Messenger where you can download files from the chat sidebar. Note: You must be in the chat or be a data reviewer to be able to download documents from Qwil.
Save or download images from Salesforce
From the chat details, you can view all images sent in a chat by clicking on the Images tab in the desired chat. This will display a list of all images in the chat.
To save an image from the chat to your client's Salesforce record:
- Click on the button next to the desired image.
- Select Save As Salesforce file.
To download an image from the chat to your computer:
- Click on the button next to the desired image.
- Select Download.
